Magic Microphone Description and Specifications

The Magic mic is an all-in-one player and microphone. It is easy to set-up. Simply plug into your TV or
stereo just like any other component.

You can also sing with the magic mic in your car! An optional car adaptor is available from Astra.

Additional chips can be purchased and installed. These include: TAGALOG, SPANISH, KOREAN,
CHINESE, VIETNAMESE, BRAZILIAN, and JAPANESE and many more.

The package content includes:

  • Mic stand, Carrying Cases. All cables, Song book, Magic microphone, AC Adapter.
  • Record yourself and replay it.
  • 88 different Musical Backgrounds, Full Tempo Control and Key Control, Complete Singer Scoring, Echo Control and Song reservation.
  • Vocoder for changing the pitch of you voice to match the song. Magic Singalong multimedia microphones have full karaoke functions embedded in their chips, so users need only to connect them to a TV video and audio to enjoy karaoke at home.
  • It operates in a wired and an optional sub-microphone wireless mic. The Magic mic provides background pictures, music and lyrics on a TV screen. Any singer can feel just like a professional singer by manipulating the voice key selection, tempo, digital echo, volume/tone control, surround sound, list search, etc. Scores your performance for fun and enjoyment.
  • Allows programming for up to 20 songs in your preferred order. Display shows 10 songs.
  • Allows wireless connection through any radio via FM signal (car, boom box, home, boat).
  • Randomly pick any song with the random button.

Troubleshooting

All Magic Sing Videoke Microphone products we deliver are thoroughly tested and checked to make sure
they are from defect or any manufacture related problems. If by any reason your unit does not work
normally, please refer to the guide below (which can also be found in your Song book). If these guidelines don not correct the problem, please call your product representative.

  • Power does not turn on
    1. Using adaptor, check whether the power sources are 110v or 220v
    2. Check the contact point of the cable jack and adaptor jack
    3. Reconnect the adaptors
  • Using batteries (for outdoor use)
    1. Did you insert 4 AA alkaline batteries?
    2. Make sure the inserted batteries (+ -) are positioned in the correct direction
    3. Check the elasticity of the stainless steel in the battery case.
    4. Check if the batteries are in good condition
  • The microphone doesnt work
    1. Press the microphones button and check the volume
    2. Check the batteries power
  • If the TV does not show the pictures or sound
    1. Make sure the connectors are properly connected (the right colors)
  • My Xtreme Magic Sing cannot be turned on
    1. When using a power adapter, make sure the power adaptor is plugged into the power
      outlet correctly.
    2. Check if the Main cable of the power jack is properly attached to the adapter jack.
    3. When using batteries, make sure two new AA batteries are in the compartment.
    4. Make sure all the batteries' (+-) are inserted in the correct directions.
    5. Check the elasticity of the stainless steel in the battery compartment.
    6. Check if the batteries are in good condition.
  • I can not hear the mic volume/ no sound is coming out from the mic
    1. Press mic button and adjust volume using [∧] [∨] keys.
    2. Check the volume of your TV.
    3. Check if audio cable is connected properly.
    4. Check the battery condition.
  • The TV screen does not show any pictures
    1. Make sure all the connectors are properly connected in the right colors.
    2. Check if cables are properly attached.
    3. Check if TV is in video mode.
    4. Check battery condition.
  • The TV Screen is idle and my Xtreme Magic Sing would not turn off.
    1. Press the [PWR] button for three seconds or longer to turn off Magic Sing
  • The TV Screen is in black and white/ the video display is distorted.
    1. Identify the compatibility of the TV and your MAGIC SING XTREME.
    2. You may need to convert to NTSC or PAL MODE.
  • How can I Convert NTSC to PAL mode or vice-versa?
    1. Press the [PWR] button while pressing [8] button for PAL TV mode.
    2. Press the [PWR] button while pressing [9] button for NTSC TV mode.

    1. Press [PWR] button while pressing [0] button for USER RESET
